Betty (B.J.) Abrams, AKA-SamBa'Rella' is an Arkansas native, primitive & university trained artist. African American Female, Ageless, Oil is my preferred medium, but I create in acrylic, water, mixed media, wood, jewels and collage as it takes my fancy. My current greatest acheivement is to have three original paintings in the President Bill Clinton Libary Collection, Clinton Blvd., Little Rock, Arkansas from June 16th, 2007 to August 18th, 2007, placed there by the Clinton-Thea Foundations. Arkansas Arts Center Competition, 'Small Works on Paper,' selected my painting 'ODE TO MARIO' to travel Arkansas during 2008 with the show.
